George Eugene Scarlett

George Eugene Scarlett, 61, of Independence, MO, passed away, Sunday, June 5, 2005 at his home in Independence. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 10, 2005 at the Francis Cemetery in Belle, MO. The family will greet friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. George was born July 16, 1943 in Bland, MO to George Elmer and Laura Belle (Glandon) Scarlett. Mr. Scarlett worked as a construction worker before becoming disabled. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by; a daughter, Laura Rachel Boehm of Independence, MO; a brother, John E. Scarlett of Independence, MO; 3 sisters, Marie Carroll, Nora Johnson both of Independence, MO and Dorothy Sansoucie of Rolla, MO; 3 grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
