Marian Inez Schmidt

Marian Inez Schmidt, 78 of Independence, MO passed away on Sat. May 17, 2003 at the Carmel Hills Living Center. Services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, May 21, 2003 at the George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home. Burial in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 - 8:30 pm Tuesday at the chapel. Contributions are suggested to the Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1400 Sheley Rd, Indep. MO 64052 or to North Care Hospice, 2900 Clay Edwards Dr., North Kansas City, MO 64116. Mrs. Schmidt was born on Aug. 23, 1924 to Claude and Helen (Tathwell) Davis in Kansas City, MO and had been a lifelong area resident. She had been a Bookkeeper with Northeast Flower Shop. She was a member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Schmidt was preceded in death by her husband, Walter M. Schmidt in 1998. She is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Janet and Bill Alexander of Kansas City, MO, Marilyn and Roger Sharp of Greenwich, CT and Julie and Neil Minter of Lee�s Summit, MO.
