Christine Marie Schuckmann (Venz)

Christine Marie Schuckmann, 71 of Independence, Missouri passed away peacefully on Monday, July 4, 2022. Christine was born on March 19, 1951 to Russell and Rita Venz in Honolulu, Hawaii. After graduating from Festus High School Christine chose to continue her education at Jefferson Jr. College earning her Associates degree. It was there that she met her soulmate and best friend Harry. They were married shortly after in 1973 and to that union came three children. Christine enjoyed sharing her knowledge and helping people. She worked as a substitute teacher for over 25 years within the public school system. During her spare time she could be found at the casino as she loved the thrill and excitement of atmosphere there. Christmas was Christine’s favorite time of year. She loved her family fiercely and looked forward to the opportunity to have everyone together under one roof every chance she got. Her kind spirit will be missed beyond measure. Christine is survived by her beloved husband, Harry; daughters, Theresa Schuckmann, Jessica Schuckmann; son, Eric Schuckmann; grandchildren, Harry, Shea and Michael; siblings, Diana Gamel, Sandy Walker, Bobby Venz, Steven, Venz, Michael Venz and William Venz and many other family members and friends. Christine was preceded in death by her infant son, Harry Joseph Schuckmann and four siblings.
