John Clarence Schweer

John Schweer, 94, of Elmhurst, IL, passed away on October 13, 2006 at his son�s home in Independence, MO. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 20, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. The service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the chapel. Cremation. John was born on March 29, 1912 in Chicago, IL to Christoph and Eleanor Schweer. He went on to serve proudly in the United States Navy, as a Chief Aviation Mechanic on the Admiral�s Plane, during WWII. John lived most of his life in Elmhurst IL, with his loving wife Suzanna. For his last six months he lived in Independence, MO with his son John and wife Sherry. John was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Suzanna Schweer; and brother, Myron Michael (Pat) Schweer. He is survived by his two sons, John Joseph Schweer and wife Sherry, and Christopher Vilis Schweer; grandchildren, John Christopher Schweer and wife Brandi, Heather Renee Bird and husband Christopher, Chad Morrell Schweer, James Glenn Schweer and wife Tracy, Christina Susan Pettit and husband Peter and Rebecca Wrenn Schweer; as well as 8 great grandchildren, Lauren, Ashley-Renee, John Michael and Joseph Schweer, Jeffrey and Katherine Bird, Jackson Schweer and Shea Pettit.
