Patricia Schwensen

Patricia Rooth “Pat” Schwensen, 67, of Independence, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at Centerpoint Medical Center surrounded by her family. Cremation with private interment. Pat was born October 4, 1940 in Kansas City, MO to Daniel J. and Rooth (Burke) McGrath. She loved dogs, and animals of all sorts having worked with rehab for Lakeside Nature Center. Mrs. Schwensen was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, always sacrificing herself for the good of others. Pat lived for Halloween, Christmas and fireworks for the Fourth of July! Mrs. Schwensen is survived by her husband of 48 years, Walter Gene Schwensen; children Daniel Gene Schwensen, Kathy Lynn Neidel and husband Larry, Walter W. Schwensen, Robert Schwensen and wife Jodi; grandchildren Alisha, Amanda, Joshua, Joey, Kelsey and Jared. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister JoAnn McGrath.
