Margaret E. Scott

Margaret E. Scott, 80, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away, Saturday, December 13, 2003 at St. Mary�s Hospital of Blue Springs. Services will be held at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at the Speaks Buckner Chapel. Private family interment will be in Buckner Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to services time Wednesday at the chapel. Margaret was born March 16, 1923 in Pleasant Hill, MO to Paul and Nellie (Kinnard) Phillips. She worked as a bank officer for the First State of Missouri in Buckner, MO for a number of years before she retired. She was married to Avery Scott on December 18, 1955; he passed away on January 26, 1998. She is survived by a daughter, Cathy Oliver of Blue Springs, MO; a brother, William Phillips of Pleasant Hill, MO; 2 sisters, Joan Maloney of Adrian, MO and Francis Smith of Denver, CO; a granddaughter, Miranda Manus of Independence, MO.
