Timothy Ray Scrivener, 57, a loving husband and father , passed away on Friday , September 20, 2019 at St Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City .
Timothy was born on February 15, 1962, in Kansas City , Missouri to Oliver Scrivener and Margery (Reynolds) Brown . He worked in ministry for a few years as a Sunday School teacher and a Junior Church pastor at Pastor Roloff’s Church in Texas.
While he was at the Rollof’s Men’s Home, he was part of the singing group that went on tour . Afterwards, he worked in a woodworking shop . He met his wife Amy in the Philippines in April 2006 and the two were married in October 2008. After moving to Kansas City, Missouri area , he later became a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.
Timothy had a passion for writing. He also loved to paint, doodle, play uno and go to movies with his daughter . He also would spend hours talking to his best friend, Jeremy Keeler .
He was preceded in death by his sister Tamra (Tami) Overturf . He is survived by his wife Amorelle Scrivener, his daughter Sara Scrivener, his mother Margery Brown, his father Oliver Scrivener and wife Anne, his sister Terri McMurry and husband Steve as long as several nieces and nephews.
His memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 28th, 2019 at New Hope Baptist Church
1800 Lexington Rd. Independence, Missouri at 12 pm . Pastor Darren Tharp will officiate.
