Sean Andrew Kidneigh, 32, passed away on March 7, 2025, in Blue Springs, Missouri. Born on September 29, 1992, in Slymar, California, Sean brought warmth, intelligence, and laughter into the lives of all who knew him.
Sean grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, with his mother, Elizabeth Payton, Father, Rudy Machado, and sisters Jessica Kidneigh, and Samantha Capps. His family moved to Blue Springs, where he played as quarterback for their football team and graduated as valedictorian at Blue Springs South High School. His academic excellence reflected his sharp intellect and dedication to learning. He went on to attend the University of Utah before returning back home to Blue Springs to work with his father at Platinum Tile. He reflected on intimate times singing songs and going to concerts together with his sister, Samantha. In particular, they loved to scream and sing Homecoming by Hey Monday and King For a Day by Pierce The Veil while driving in their car. Sean took joy in spending these times with her and trying to make her laugh.
Professionally, Sean was a skilled craftsman and a dedicated worker. For nine years, he worked alongside his father, Rudy Machado, as a pool tile and stone specialist for custom pools. His work left a lasting mark across the Kansas City area through numerous large-scale projects that showcased his precision and artistry. Later in his career, Sean transitioned to working from home with Synchrony Financial to be home with his family 24/7. In just nine months, he earned a promotion to Customer Solutions Specialist, where he focused on Care Credit disputes—a role that highlighted both his problem-solving skills and his commitment to helping others, while simultaneously being home taking care of his children together with his wife, Breanna. Sean most recently returned back to work for Platinum Tile in 2024. He loved getting back out to an outside and hands-on job once again with his father while using his nine years of previous experience.
A man of many passions, Sean was an avid football fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. He was over the moon with their triumphant 2025 Super Bowl win against the Kansas City Chiefs. He enjoyed collecting antiques and furniture to refinish and style with his wife, Breanna. He also had a deep love for history, particularly ancient warfare and mythology surrounding Egyptian and Greek gods and WW2. He also enjoyed reading epic tales such as Dante’s Inferno, The Odyssey, Fire & Blood, and books from the House of the Dragon and Game of Thrones series. Whether immersed in literature, adding new painted projects to their family's home, baking and trying new recipes, playing video games, or watching movies with his family, Sean found joy in quiet moments at home.
Sean’s greatest joy came from the life he built over the last 9 years with his beloved wife, Breanna, and their three children: Bradley, Charlotte, and Teddy. He was a devoted husband and father who always put his family first. Every day with Sean was filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support. His selflessness and deep affection for those closest to him were evident in every moment he shared with them.
With his son Bradley, he enjoyed teaching and playing Football and Baseball, cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles, playing video games, filled with constant teasing and laughter, and sharing their love of Halloween and costumes on their closely shared birthday parties. Sean leaves behind his soul, pride, and sarcastic wits in his son, Bradley.
With his daughter, Charlotte, he enjoyed quieter times, cooking and baking in the kitchen as his side chef, singing and preparing holiday meals, making funny videos together on his phone, and snuggling her "snuggle buddy" (daddy) any chance she could get. She was his angel. Sean leaves behind his loving nature, wits, and kindness in his daughter, Charlotte.
With his youngest son, Teddy, he enjoyed endless laughter and fun. Wherever Sean was, Teddy was right there in his arms. Running errands, going for drives, and getting ice cream, sleeping between his Mommy and Daddy, playing loudly, and always by his side. Sean leaves behind his joy, energy, and humor in his son, Teddy.
With his wife, Breann, he enjoyed quiet, intimate times at home, working on furniture and decoration projects, playing video games, reading together, learning new things, laughing, and snuggling endlessly. Sean's favorite vacation together was driving down to Freeport, Texas to meet new family and experiencing the beach for the first time, along with the kids. Truly best friends and soul mates, Sean leaves behind his unwavering love, thousands of beautiful memories, and their children together with Breanna over the last 9 years. Only once in those 9 years were they ever away from each other for more than 1 whole night. She cherishes every second she has with him.
Those fortunate enough to know Sean will remember him as kind-hearted, extremely intelligent, loving, hilarious in the most natural way, shy yet deeply loyal—a man whose presence brought comfort and happiness. His ability to make people smile was unmatched; he lived each day striving to bring joy to his family.
Sean leaves behind a legacy of love through Breanna, their children, Bradley, Charlotte, and Teddy, and all those whose lives were brightened by his spirit.
A celebration of Sean’s life will be held in Blue Springs, MO
May his memory bring peace to those who loved him and continue to inspire kindness in all who remember him.
