Myrtle Irene Sears, 87, Independence, MO, died Thursday, February 15, 2007. Mrs. Sears was born December 14, 1919, in Milan, MO, to Thomas and Verl (Hamilton) White. She married Ernest Sears and they enjoyed 43 years of marriage. She was employed for many years with Avon and had enjoyed a successful career as a District Manager. Upon her retirement, she worked as a travel guide and was able to take many trips. Mrs. Sears was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest, and a daughter, Barbara Allen. She is survived by a daughter, Darlene Snyder, Blue Springs, MO; 3 grandchildren, Chuck Burris, Blue Springs, MO, Mark Allen, Liberty, MO, and Julie Still, Raymore, MO; 2 great-grandchildren, Mitch and Devin Allen, both of Liberty, MO. In accordance with her wish to be cremated, the family will celebrate Mrs. Sears life with a memorial service in May in Milan, MO.
