Mary Ima Sellers, 78 of Independence, MO passed away Mon. Aug. 14, 2006 at St. Mary�s Medical Center. Services will be 1:30 pm, Sat. Aug 19, 2006 at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Grain Valley Congregation, 32901 E. Pink Hill Rd. Grain Valley, MO. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 - 9:00 pm, Fri. Aug 18, 2006 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St. Indep, MO. Mrs. Sellers was born on Oct. 6, 1927 to Harry and Ruby (Hobby) Sanders in Hot Springs, AR and has lived in the Independence area since 1950. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved to garden and share its bounty with family and friends. She was truly dedicated to her husband and daughters all her life. She and her husband Greely had farmed on Necessary Road in Independence for over 53 years. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and in previous years been very active in several congregations. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Greely Sellers in 2000, a daughter, Kristena Sellers in 1966 and three sisters, Dora Pittman, Nadine Lambert and Bertha Allen. She is survived by two daughters and sons in laws, Sandra and Raymond Martin of Blue Springs, MO and Lana Sellers and Mike Sunderland of Blue Springs, MO. Two grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Martin, and Nicholas Sellers Trammell; four step grandchildren Cindy Foth, Vicki Winter, Amanda Sunderland and Matthew Sunderland. Two step-great grandchildren, Stormi Martin and Jason McClendon. Two brothers, Harland Sanders and wife Carolyn of Cabot, AR. and Orval Sanders and wife, Shirley of Hot Springs, AR. Four sisters, Gertie Moore and husband, Hollis of Pearcy, AR, Marie Crabtree of Blue Springs, MO, Bonnie Hawley and husband Carol Dean of Pearcy, AR and Yvonne George and husband Billy Gene of Pearcy, AR.
