Eva L. Selvy

Eva Lorena Selvy, 91 of Independence passed away Sep 28, 2006 at the Kindred Hospital. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 am, Mon. Oct 2, 2006 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St. Indep. MO, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Mrs. Selvy was born on Oct 15, 1914 to Lily F. and William H. Jackson in St. Paul, AR. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and bird watching. She worked for the Eastwood Hills School for several years, then she went to work at J.C. Penny�s at the Blue Ridge Mall. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Raytown and was a charter member of the Eastwood Hills Baptist Church, along with her husband Woodrow E. Selvy, who preceded her in death in 2003 after 69 years of Marriage. Mrs. Selvy is survived by two daughters, Linda Danford and husband Curtis of Sunrise Beach, MO and Sharon Price and husband Norm of Blue Springs, MO. Four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
