Mary Catherine Seyl, 91 of Independence, passed away Tue Aug. 16, 2005. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Contributions are suggested to any Hospice Program. Mrs. Seyl was born on Jul 9, 1914 to Bill and Florence (Garretty) Schmidt in Highland Park, IL. Mary was a loving mother and grandmother, who loved to garden, sew and spend time outdoors, especially at the lake. She was of the Catholic faith. Mary is survived by a son Tim Seyl Sr. and wife "Andy� of Lake of the Ozarks, MO. One sister, Betty Parson of Arlington, TX. Four grandchildren, Timmy and wife, Rachelle, Pam and husband Ron, Sharon and Companion, Dale, and Vickie. Numerous great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter and a host of other family and friends.
