Shannon David Bass

Shannon “David” Bass January 20, 1972 – January 15, 2025

Shannon David was born January 20, 1972 in Independence, MO, the son of David A Bass and Marjorie (Elliott) Bass. He graduated from Truman High School in 1990, and went on to college at Northwest Missouri State University graduating in 1994 with a business degree. He married Dawn Harris in 1998, later divorced but was father to 5 children. He worked as a Construction Project Manager, recently for Smalls Sliders in Blue Springs. He had a very good work ethic and always tried to do his very best to please the boss. He really enjoyed his coworkers. He was an avid sports fan, (Cowboys, Tar Heels, Braves, GA Bulldogs) and collector of sports memorabilia. Shannon was survived by sons: Zachary Bass, (Taylor); Hunter Bass (Molly); Peyton Bass; and Tanner Bass; daughter Aubrey Bass; and granddaughter Avery Grace Bass. Brother Ryan Bass (Kristi) and 2 nephews; brother-in-heart Steve Boles. A private dinner is planned for later.
