Sharon E. Crawford

Sharon E. Crawford, 73 of Sugar Creek, MO, was taken up to Heaven in the loving arms of the Lord on Friday, August 23, 2024 to be re-united with all her family. Sharon was born June 4, 1951 to William Edward and Betty Lee Behen in Independence, MO. She was a life long member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church until its closing earlier this year and the attended St. Mark Catholic Church. At St. Ann’s she served as a lector eucharistic minister and choir member. She loved animals, nature, music and dancing. She will be remembered for her strong will for life, her sense of humor and helping the needy. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, stepfather, brother, husband Chet, and her best friend and beloved pet Missy. Sharon is at last at peace and happy in Heaven with the Lord and her deeply missed and beloved family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at St. Mark Catholic Church 3736 S. Lee’s Summit Rd., Independence, MO 64055 with burial to follow in Mound Grove Cemetery. Donations may be made in her name to the Salvation Army or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
