Margaret Louise Shiffer, 83, Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013.
Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Independence, MO 64052. A celebration of Margaret’s life will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Wayside Waifs.
Margaret was born April 16, 1929 in Independence, MO the daughter of George W. and Louise (Peacock) Leach.
Survivors include her loving husband of 65 years George Shiffer; daughter, Georgia Mueller; grandchildren, Lauren Ackerman and husband Paul, Kathryn Gaherty and husband Michael, William M. Shiffer and wife Lois, and Geo. Clinton Shiffer; great granddaughter, Georgia M. Ackerman. She was preceded in death by her son, William J. Shiffer (1998); son-in-law, Stephen Mueller (2009) and her parents.
