Catherine Louise Shropshire (Clark)

Catherine Louise Shropshire, 94 of Creighton, MO, formerly of Buckner, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at Holden Manor Care Center. Private family services will be held with cremation to follow. Catherine was born July 3, 1926 in Holliday, KS to Cicero Weaver Clark and Emma Mae (Edwards) Clark. She moved to the Kansas City area at an early age and has long time Buckner area resident. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and crocheting. She was a beloved wife, mother and homemaker and had also worked for a time at Lake City Ammunition Plant. She is survived by; a daughter, Sandra Keeney of Creighton, MO; a brother, Carl Clark, 3 sisters, Esther Cooper, Shirley Scholle and Linda Cooper; 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by; her husband, Omar Shropshire in 1999; a daughter, Carol Blann in 2003; 3 brothers, Bill, George and Tom Clark and a sister, Vada Winfrey.
