Eugene William "Gene" Shull

Eugene W. Shull of Independence, MO was welcomed into Heaven on November 4, 2014 at the age of 87. He was born in Marshall, MO and served in the Navy during WW II. Eugene was a master mechanic and began his KC career at Rost Chevrolet. He was eager to help anyone in need and loved sharing his mechanical talent. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Deanie Shull of the home; sister Geraldine Craig; five children: James Shull and wife Cathy; Robby Shull and wife Brenda; Steve Shull and wife Kathy; Mary Jo Taylor and husband Rob; Lisa Passantino and husband Vince; nine grandchildren: Amanda Shull, Robin Shull, Chris Shull, Timothy Shull, Colleen Atherton, Rachel Shull, James Taylor, Jessica Hansen, Jacob Taylor and seven great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Charlotte, Jackson, Eli, Michael, Ryan and Caden. Visitation will be Saturday, November 8 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at First Assembly of God, 3711 S Whitney Ave., Independence, MO 64055 followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to your favorite charity.
