John David Shull

John David Shull, 74 of Grain Valley, MO passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Research Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 10, 2021 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 29th St., Independence, MO 64055 with burial to follow in Mound Grove Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at the chapel. John was born May 28, 1947 in Kansas City, MO to John and Jean Elizabeth (Hahn) Shull and has been a lifelong area resident. He proudly served in the US Army during Vietnam. He had worked at General Motors Assembly Plant for over 20 years, in a number of different areas before he retired in 2004. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and restoring old cars. He is survived by; a daughter, Dawn Shull of Independence, MO; a son, David Shull of Independence, MO; his companion Renne Dearman of the home; 3 sisters, Jean Liburdi of Arizona, Renee Biggs of Independence, MO and Rhonda Wilburn of Tonganoxie, KS, 2 step brothers, Ed McCale and Denny McCale. and 3 grandchildren, Neko Kirkman, Brittany Bush and Hayden Shull.
