Clara J. Shuster

Clara J. Shuster, 79, of Lee�s Summit, MO passed away Thursday August.4, 2005. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 9, 2005 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., Monday evening at the chapel, Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to the American Institute for Cancer Research, 1-800-843-8114. Clara was born to John August and Mary Pischke on October 13, 1925, near Melrose, Wisconsin, the eighth of thirteen children born on their family farm. She met Gerald J. Shuster, an Army Air Force Staff Sgt., on a blind date on Feb.8th, 1948 and they were married ten days later. The marriage lasted until Jerry passed away in Jan., 1992. She is survived by her two daughters, Deanna Harfield of Lee�s Summit, Mo., and Gail Tesson of Merriam, Ks, her son-in-law Eugene Tesson of Merriam, Ks., five grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren, all living in the Kansas City metro area. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and her love of family will be held in all of our hearts forever.
