Elizabeth Sigman

Elizabeth "Betty� Ann Sigman, 78, of Independence, MO, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at Rosewood Health Center. Memorial Services will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at Heritage House, 660 N. Spring, Independence, MO 64050. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 6-7:00 p.m. Cremation. Memorial contributions may be made to Outreach International, 129 W. Lexington, Independence, MO 64050 or Camp Quality of Michigan, 915 Robinson St., Boyne City, MI 49712-9229. Betty was born July 3, 1926 in East Jordan, MI to Theo K. "Scotty� and Anna B. (Whiteford) Scott. She was a member of the Pleasant Heights Congregation of the Community of Christ Church attending the Heritage House Congregation. Mrs. Sigman was a Teacher and taught in Lamoni, IA before retiring from the Shawnee Mission School District. She is survived by her husband of 47 years Jay Dee Sigman of Overland Park, KS; daughter and son-in-law Cheryl A. and John Kennedy of Olathe, KS; sons Michael J. Sigman of South Dakota and Gregory D. Sigman of Mission Hills, KS; 8 grandchildren; brother Ted Scott of Independence, MO; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
