Sharon Kay Silvers (Romine)

Sharon Kay Silvers, 69 of Independence, Mo passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. The family will greet with friends from 9:00 a.m., until service time Saturday at the chapel. Sharon was born April 25, 1953 in Kansas City, MO to Freeman and Sarah (Coole) Romine and has been a life long area resident. She had worked as a legal assistant, most recently for the Seigfreid-Bingham, P.C. Law Firm in Kansas City, MO. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by; her husband of nearly 50 years, Ed Silvers of the home; and a sister, Judy Scott of Lowry City, MO. She was preceded in death be her parents, a daughter, Amanda Jean Silvers in 2003 and by her brothers, Pat Romine and Robert Romine.
