Robert Lee “Bobby” Simms, 60, Independence, MO passed away Monday, April 28, 2014.
Bobby was born June 30, 1953 in Independence, MO the son of Robert James and Mae Joan (Biggs) Simms. He owned and operated Simms Roofing for a number of years before having to retire due to health. Bobby enjoyed fishing, hunting and mushroom hunting. Survivors include his wife, Carol Simms; son, Robert Lee Simms Shields, Jr.; daughters, Karri Hampton, Brook, and Jennifer; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
