Thomas Lee Simms, 75, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012.
Tom was born November 9, 1937 in Mammoth Springs, AR the son of Richard L. and Betty (Foster) Simms. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Tom had worked for Midwest Kenworth and later retired from Deuce Lear Foundation Company. After retirement Tom served as a marshal for Winterstone Golf Course. He was an avid golfer, gardener, and more than anything he loved his granddaughters.
Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly Cassidy and husband Scott; granddaughters, Kaylee and Airika Cassidy; sister, Rebecca Reynolds; additional nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Peggy Sue. Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Simms in 2007; two sisters; and his parents. A celebration gathering will be held at a later date.
