Betty Lee Behen Simon

Betty Lee Ainsworth Behen Simon, 74 of Sugar Creek, passed away Tue. Sep. 30, 2003 at the Independence Regional Health Center. Services will be 10:30 am, Thur. Oct. 2, 2003 at George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 - 8:30 pm, Wednesday. Contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association or to Wayside Waifs. Mrs. Simon was born on Apr 10, 1929 to Earl and Mary Ann (Seippel) Ainsworth in Kansas City, MO and was a lifelong area resident. Mrs. Simon was a homemaker and a wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She had previously owned and operated the Baltimore Business Service which later became the Sonitrol Security Systems Company. She was a member of St. Ann�s Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim Simon in 1993. She is survived by a son, Robert Anthony Behen of Sugar Creek, MO. A daughter , Sharon Crawford of Sugar Creek, MO and a son in law, Chet Crawford of Springfield, MO. Two step sons Pat Simon and wife Cathy of Platte City, MO and James Simon of California. Two grandchildren, Megan Simon and Dawn O�Neal and by several nieces and nephews.
