Billie Ray Sinclair, 79 of Shell City, MO formerly of Independence, passed away Mon. Jul. 26, 2004 at Truman Medical Center Lakewood. Services will be 1:00 pm, Fri. Jul 30, 2004 at Harmony Heights Missionary Baptist Church, 1701 Salem Dr., Independence, MO. Burial in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 - 8:30pm, Thursday at the George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home. Contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Association. Mr. Sinclair was born on May 12, 1925 to W.R. and Geneva Sinclair in Marceline, MO and had lived in this area since 1945 until moving to Shell City earlier this year. Billie had worked at the Standard Oil Refinery and the Missouri Department of Agriculture. He was a member of the Musicians union #34-627 and the Harmony Heights Missionary Baptist Church. Billie is survived by his wife, Betty Adcock Sinclair of Shell City, MO. Two sons and their wives, Michael and Sharon Sinclair of Scottsdale, AZ and Danny and Susan Anderson of Corpus Christi, TX. A daughter and her husband, Cynthia and Dave Stebbins of Clearwater, FL. Two stepsons Gerald Adcock of Blue Springs, MO and Patrick Adcock of Kansas City, MO. A Step Daughter, Danna Kellogg of Shell City, MO. One brother D. Sinclair of Lee�s Summit, MO. Two grandchildren, nine step grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
