Herbert James Sinden

Herbert Sinden, 89, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016. A visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th St, Independence, MO, 64055. A second visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 am on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Blue Ridge Presbyterian Church 6429 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO, 64133. A service will follow the second visitation at 11:00 am at the church. Herbert was born on September 19, 1926 in Uhrichsville, OH to Ora Herbert and Sadie Sinden. He was a proud veteran with the United States Navy, serving in World War II and later spent his years teaching history. He also served as Deacon at Blue Ridge Presbyterian Church. Herbert will be remembered by his wife Peggy Sinden of the home; and his 2 sons John Sinden of Kansas City, MO and James Sinden of Topeka, KS. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Spofford Home in Grandview or Blue Ridge Presbyterian.
