Donald Earl Smith

Donald Earl "Don� Smith, 35, of Kansas City, KS, passed away, Tuesday, March 16, 2005 at his residence. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 18, 2005 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Private burial will be in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. The family will greet friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time Friday at the chapel. The casket will remain closed. Donations should be made to the Kansas City Kansas Fire Department. Don was born May 18, 1969 in Port Huron, MI to Donald Earl and Caro (Cline) Smith, Sr. He grew up in Michigan graduating from Rochester, MI high school in 1987. He enjoyed NASCAR, cooking, camping, firefighting and spending time with his daughters. He was a member of the RLDS Glendale Restoration Branch. He is survived by; his wife, Joan (Young) Smith of the home; 2 daughters, Alyssa Smith of the home and Kelsey Smith of Carol, MI; his mother, Caro Smith of Independence, MO; 2 sisters, Jodi Hawley of Independence, MO and Jennifer Baltzer of Blue Springs. MO; and maternal grandfather, Leroy Cline of Euclid, OH.
