Marion F. Smith

Marion F. Smith, 79, of Kansas City, MO passed away Saturday, November 5, 2005. Services will be 2 pm Tuesday, November 8th at Carson-Speaks Chapel (1501 W. Lexington Ave. Indep. MO) with interment in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1 pm until service time at the Chapel. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer�s Association. Marion was born July 20, 1926 in Miltonvale, KS to Frank and Mary Smith. Marion was a veteran of WW II, serving in the U.S. Air Force. He retired as Budget Director for Consolidated Freightways in Palo Alto, CA. Marion was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth E. Smith in 2002. He is survived by his sisters, Vondell Neill of Kansas City, MO, and Eileen Yeager of Raytown, MO; several nieces and nephews.
