Michael Patrick Smith

Michael P. Smith, 69, passed away December 7, 2016. He was born January 16, 1947 in Kansas City, MO to Allen and Betty (Davis) Smith. Michael was a 1965 graduate from Raytown South High School. He lived in California for 41 years, recently moving back to Grain Valley, MO to be near his family. Michael had a heart of gold, and would donate to local children’s charities during the holiday seasons. His amazing personality helped him in sales. He could sell ice to an Eskimo! He was a loving, caring husband, brother, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed. Michael was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Donna Scott. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Linda K. Smith; two daughters, Shelly Smith-Jimenez and Amy Smith; granddaughter, Ashley Beaver; brothers, Allen and Phillip Smith; and one sister, Madeline Diane Noud.
