Monica J. Smith

Monica J. Smith, 41 of Independence, MO passed away Mon. Aug 1, 2005 at her home. Services will be 10:00 am, Thu. Aug 4, 2005 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th St., Indep. MO. Burial in Lobb Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 - 8:30 pm Wednesday at the Chapel. Contributions are suggested to the KC Hospice. Monica was born on Aug. 24, 1963 to Robert and Carol (Tritle) Hall in Kansas City, KS. She had been a School Bus driver with the Independence School District for several year. She enjoyed doing crafts and being with her family. Monica had a special gift in caring for Kids including the ones on her school bus route. She enjoyed every moment spent with them. Monica was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and daughter and will be greatly missed. She had been an active member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church for several years. Monica was preceded in death by her father, Robert Ross Hall in Feb of 2005. She is survived by her husband, Micheal Smith, a son, Luis Robert Benavides, daughter, Rebecca Payne and step-daughter April Dawn Smith, all of Independence, MO. Her mother Carol S. Hall of Warsaw, MO, three brothers and four grandchildren
