Pamela Jean Smith, 65, of Independence, MO passed away April 2, 2018. A visitation will take place from 9-10:00 a.m. followed by a 10:00 a.m. service on Thursday, April 5, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Burial will be at Floral Hills East, Lee’s Summit, MO. Pamela was born July 30, 1952 in Independence, MO to Marshall and Barbara (Shoemaker) Barlow. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Caswell; brother, Tommy Barlow; father and stepmother, Marshall and Mildred Barlow; mother and stepfather, Barbara and Charles Miller; and sister, Dorothy Stewart. She is survived by daughter, Pamie Smith (Joey); son, William Caswell (Barbara); daughter, Marshella Phillips; son, Ronald Caswell (Jessica); son, John Caswell; son, Jeremy Caswell (Tina); and son, Bryan Caswell (Ashley); sister, Marsha Barlow; two brothers, Ray Matthews (Carol), Darrell Barlow; brother-in-law, George Stewart; 21 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.
