Kathyleen Snead

Kathyleen “June” Snead, 89, of Buckner, MO passed away, Monday morning at the Independence Manor Care Center. Services will be 2:00 pm., Thursday, August 2, 2007 at the Speaks Buckner Chapel. Burial will be in Buckner Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at the chapel. Donations may be made to the Buckner United Methodist Church. June was born June 1, 1918 on a farm in Allendale, MO to Roy and Ethel (Findley) Gibson. She has been a longtime resident of Buckner, MO. She was a wife, mother and homemaker who enjoyed sewing, writing and volunteering at her church. She was a member of the Buckner United Methodist Church. She was married to Earmal R. Snead, he preceded her in death. Survivors include; 2 sons, Jack Snead of Buckner and Jerry Snead of Blue Springs, MO; a daughter, Joy Susann Stokes of Ozark, MO; 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
