Archie Snider

Archie M. Snider, 75, of Independence, MO, passed away, Thursday, April 3, 2014 at the Rehabilitation Center of Independence. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 7, 2014 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Avenue, Independence, MO 64052. Burial will follow in Mt. Washington Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 9:00 a.m., until service time Monday at the chapel. Archie was born October 18, 1938 in Los Angeles, CA to Archie H. and Agnes (Baird) Snider. He graduated from Ozark, MO high school in 1956 and later from UMKC with a BS in Pharmacy. He had worked as a pharmacist in Independence for a number of years until he retired in 2009 from Centerpoint Medical Center. He enjoyed fishing, rose gardening, he was an avid movie fan and sports fan who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by; his wife, Vicki of the home; 2 sons, Jamie Snider of the home and Mark Snider of Kansas City, MO; a daughter, Staci Nipko of Shawnee, KS; a sister, Linda Aldridge of Moundville, AL and 3 grandchildren.
