David Snowden

David Snowden, 59, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016. A visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO, 64055. A service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, August 1, 2016 at the chapel. David was born on August 5, 1956 in Springfield, MO to Leslie and Martha Snowden. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Drury College and worked as an IT Architect for IBM. He enjoyed electronics, computers, watching and playing basketball, but most of all loved his time with his kids. David was an active member of Blue River Church of Christ. He will be remembered by his wife Sharon of the home; sons Michael Snowden of Independence, MO, and Connor Snowden and fiancé Peyton Yocum of Kansas City, MO; his mother Martha Snowden of Springfield, MO; brother Mark Snowden of Cleveland, TN; sister Janet Price and husband Mike of Rogersville, MO; nephew Jonathan Price and niece Emily Price. David was preceded in death by his father in 2001.
