Helen I. Solomon

Helen I. Solomon, 82, of Englewood, FL, passed away, Saturday, September 3, 2005 at Englewood Community Hospital in Englewood, FL. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m., until service time Thursday at the chapel. Cremation to follow the services with inurnment in Mound Grove Cemetery. Helen was born February 10, 1923 in Independence, MO to Alma Ernest and Alice Maleta (Joice) Campbell. She had worked for several years for Bendix Corporation. She was married to Russell McCarroll on December 14, 1941 and were later divorced. She is survived by her husband Kenneth Solomon of the home; a daughter, Cheryl Ann (McCarroll) Johnson of Englewood, FL; 4 grandchildren, Dedra Kastor of Englewood, FL, Aaron, Justin and Elizabeth McCarroll of Lexington, MO; 3 great grandchildren 3 sisters, Norma L. Hacker and Juanita Downs of Independence, MO and Maleta Meek of Rio Rancho, NM; 2 step brothers Harold Talcott of Sun City, AZ and Ron Talcott of Lee�s Summit, MO; 2 step sisters, Pauline Jennings of Independence, MO and Doris Gabriel of Joplin, MO. She was preceded in death by a son, Russell Wayne McCarroll and a brother Ernest A. Campbell.
