Rosalia L. Spahr, 86, of Odessa, formerly of Independence, Mo passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at the New Haven Nursing Home in Odessa, MO. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 28, 2006 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Friday at the chapel. Rosalia was born March 5, 1919 in Sugar Creek, MO to Andrew and Anna (Lusek) Lukomski and has been a lifelong area resident. She had worked as a machine operator for Lake City Ammunition Plant for over 30 years until she retired in 1981. She enjoyed making ceramics. She was a member of the catholic church. She was married to Frederick W. Spahr in September of 1941, he passed away in 1983. Other survivors include; 2 sisters, Ellen Novak of Sugar Creek, MO and Katie Shalton on Independence, MO; She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 5 sisters.
