Eva Edna Sparks

Eva Edna Sparks, 83 of Independence, MO passed away Wed. May 26, 2004 at the Monterey Park Nursing Center. Services will be 10:00 am, Wed, Jun. 2, 2004 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be from 7 - 8:30 pm, Tuesday at the chapel. Graveside service will be held at 4:00 pm, Wednesday at Tall Woods Cemetery, Eldon, MO. Mrs. Sparks was born on Feb. 5, 1921 in Versailles, MO and had lived in Marshall, MO before moving to Independence in 1986. She had been an inspector for Banquet Foods in Marshall from 1979 until 1982. Mrs. Sparks was a member of South Church of God, Grandview, MO. She is survived by two sons, Melvin Cook and wife, Sandra of Independence, MO and Robert L. Cook & wife, Betty of Arizona. Three brothers, Ray Arnold of California, Harley Arnold of Oregon and Donald Arnold of Independence, MO. Two sisters, Marie Smith of Marshall, MO and Bernice Mullinix of Independence, MO. Three Grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
