Mack Spicer, 69, of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017. A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00am on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th St, Independence, MO, 64055. Burial will follow at Mound Grove Cemetery.
Mack was born on October 28, 1948 in Beckley, WV to Billy and Ruby (Moore) Spicer. He worked as a painter but loved to read, learn about history and walk his dog. Most of all he enjoyed listening to music. Music was everything to him.
Mack will be remembered by his wife Kathleen Spicer of Independence, MO; daughter Jenny Ward and husband Rick of Sanger, TX; his dog Carly; granddogs Mojo and Karma; plus 1 aunt and 1 uncle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Pam Seper, and two dogs Taz and Gizmo. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Living Waters Church in Buckner, MO.
