Angelina P. “Angie” St. Denis, 94, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. Angie was born to Bernardino and Maria Perez on May 29, 1927 in Laredo, TX.
Angie loved her family immensely. She married Jack while in her 20’s and to that union came their daughter, Dolores. The family enjoyed Friday nights at the Drive-In restaurants, picnics by the river, get togethers with family, and going to the Drive-In movies as well. Angie always kept a pristine yard and loved to plant new flowers in the spring. She held a special place in her heart for cats and it was no shock that she’d have six or more in her care at any given time. Angie was kind, direct, generous and had a witty sense of humor. She will be missed greatly.
She is survived by her daughter, Dolores St. Denis; nephews, Dave Pinon (Adeline Bibat “Din”), Frank Pinon and Dan Pinon (Helen); niece, Marie Pinon and many family members and friends.
Angie is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Orfelina “Linda” Rodriguez.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, March 3rd from 2-3pm at Speaks Suburban Chapel in Independence, Missouri. Her memorial service will begin promptly at 3pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Angie’s memory.
