Duane Neil Stadter, 81, Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012.
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Noland Road Baptist Church; 4505 S. Noland Road, Independence, MO 64055. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. at the church.
Neil was born August 1, 1931 in Hoisington, KS the son of Walter I. and Wilma E. (Crampton) Stadter. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War. Neil retired from Bendix (Honeywell) after 30 plus years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and especially spending time with his family.
Neil was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.
Survivors include his loving wife, Helen of 56 years; daughter, Marla Walter and husband Bryan; sons, David and Michael Stadter; grandchildren, Jace Stadter, Brandy Walter, Sara, Daniel and Dylan Stadter; great grandchildren, Angelina and Elizabeth Walter; sister Patricia Shipe and brother Jon Stadter.
