Wanda Fay Stark, 64, of Independence, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2003 at her home in Independence. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, November 20, at St. Mary�s Catholic Church, burial in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday with a rosary at 6 p.m. at Speaks Suburban Chapel followed by an Eastern Star Chapter #329 service at 7 p.m. The family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association, or the American Diabetes Association. Mrs. Stark was born June 26, 1939 to Allain and Ethel Arbour, in Baton Rouge, LA. Wanda was a member of St. Mary�s Catholic Church and was active in the Eastern Star and St. Mary�s Rosary Society. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Rex Stark, of the home; three sons, GSgt. Rex Stark, Jr (USMC) and his wife Tina, San Diego, CA; Lee Allain Stark and wife Patty, Independence, MO; Shawn Patrick Stark, and wife Lissa, Blue Springs, MO; five grandsons, Brian Stark, Colorado; Eric Stark, N. Kansas City, MO, Josh Stark, Independence, MO; John Patrick Stark and Shawn Michael Stark, both of Blue Springs, MO; sister, Joann Watts, Plaucheville, LA; and one brother Charles Arbour, Baton Rouge, LA.
