Gabriela M. Staver

Gabriela M. Staver, 80, of Independence, MO, passed away, Thursday, January 6, 2004, at her home. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at Nativity of Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday at Leavenworth National Cemetery. Donations may be made to the WWII Memorial. Gabriela was born April 27, 1924 in Dietendorf, Germany to Michael and Maria (Baier) Eck. She worked as a housekeeper for the George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home in Independence for over 15 years until she retired in the early 1980�s. She was a member of the Nativity of Mary Catholic Church. She was married to Leonard B. Staver on January 30, 1952; he passed away in February of 1999. Survivors include; a son, Andreas Staver of Independence; a sister, Klara Baier of Dietendorf, Germany; a grandson, Brian Benjamin Salgado of Lee�s Summit, MO.
