Paul J. Stebelton

Paul J. Stebelton, 82, of Independence, MO, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at Independence Manor Care Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 18th at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 9-10:00 a.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 8540 Blue Ridge Blvd, Independence, MO 64138. Paul was born November 26, 1922 to Joseph and Mae (Porter) Stebelton. He was a positive person who never met a stranger. In his spare time he enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening and working on projects around the house. Mr. Stebelton was a member of the Community of Christ Church. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Margaret (Wallon) of the home, daughter and son-in-law Margaret and Gene Kenney, daughter Jenny Toney; grandchildren Travis and Heather Kenney, Todd Kenney, Tyler Kenney, Jay and Kathy Toney; a great-granddaughter Allison Toney; several nephews, cousins and tons of friends.
