Kevin Todd Stephens of Blue Springs, Missouri, age of 50, passed away Tuesday November 16, 2021.
Kevin was born on October 30, 1971, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Harry and Marilyn (Crabtree) Stephens.
He attended Grandview High School and worked in security and loss prevention where he found a second family through countless friendships.
Kevin was an extremely hard working man and always on the go. He loved attending country and rock concerts, PBR and was a big kid at heart. He enjoyed having a great time with family and friends and was the life of the party at every event or occasion attended. He enjoyed posing for pictures with his tongue out, something that became his signature look. Kevin was a exceptionally devoted and protective of his family and friends, a caring soul and would do anything for anyone who was in need. Kevin lived life to the fullest and left a lasting impression on all that knew him.
He attended Abundant Life in Lee’s Summit and Blue Springs, MO. He also loved playing darts, pool and bull riding as a young man. Kevin loved Ft. Myers and Sanibel Island, FL and any location with white beaches.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Marilyn (Park) Bay; wife, Lori Stephens; children, Breanna Kosty, Caitlin (Kyle) Stick, Melissa Mather; grandchildren, Christian Mather, James Mather, Nolan Mather, Korben Stick, Baby Stick on the way; sister, Debbie (Ray Vaughan) Connely; nephews, Dillon Connely, Stephen Connely; many extended family and dear friends.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Carson Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, Missouri 64052. Family will greet guest between the hours of 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. .
