Taylor Lynn Stephens

Taylor Lynn Stephens, 23, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away March 28, 2019. Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Funeral services will be 2 pm Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Colbern Rd. Community of Christ, 27507 E Colbern Rd., Lee’s Summit, MO 64063. Taylor was born on March 29, 1995 in Independence, MO and attended Lee’s Summit High School. Taylor was a strong-willed, free spirit who always put others before herself. When she loved, she loved with everything she had to give. Family were friends and friends were family. Taylor had an artistic side that she showcased through her love of photography and hula hooping. Survivors include: mother Deanna Thomas and her husband Bob; father Robert “Al” Stephens; sisters Melissa Stephens and Jessica Murphy, and her husband Steven; brothers Jason Stephens, Bobby Thomas, Michael Thomas, Jeremiah Thomas and Kyle Thomas; grandfather Fred Snider; Uncle Jeff Snider; boyfriend Tylor; several nieces and nephews; a large extended family and many friends. Taylor is preceded in death by her grandparents Jacqueline Snider and Eugene and Bertha Stephens. Taylor will be forever missed for her beauty, smile and warm heart.
