Doris Barbara Still

Doris Barbara Still, 82, formerly of Marceline, MO passed away peacefully May 16, 2006 in Independence Regional Health Center surrounded by her family. Mass of Christian burial will be 12:00 noon, Friday, May 19th at St. Bonaventure Church, Marceline, MO. Visitation will be preceding Mass from 11-12:00 noon. Burial in St. Bonaventure Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Thursday, May 18th at St. Mark�s Catholic Church where the rosary will be recited at 8:00 p.m. Doris was born November 11, 1923 in Bucklin, MO to John F. and Rose Katherine (Steinlein) Leopold. She was married to Russell E. Still of Marceline, MO and was a faithful and active member of St. Bonaventure Parish�s Altar Society. She cherished the monthly canasta card playing parties. Mrs. Still was preceded in death by her parents John and Rose; step-mother Ella; husband Russell; infant son Mark Bradley; sisters Helen Levell, Rosemary Bowman and grandson Jeffery Still. Doris is survived by her brother John D. Leopold; half sister Irene Kites; daughters Sandra Gladbach and husband James, Barbara Levitt and husband Michael; sons John Still and wife Susan, Gene Still and wife Virginia, Frank Still and wife Phyllis; grandchildren Jill Gladbach Dyer and husband Dan, Anne Gladbach Lister and husband Brent, Jack Gladbach and wife Jennifer, Travis Levitt, Emily Levitt, Sarah Still Hattaway and husband Travis, Taylor Still and wife Katherine, Graham Still, Christopher Still and wife Beverly, Jonathan Still, Melissa Still and David Still; great-grandchildren Elizabeth and Brooks Dyer, Zachary and Bryce Lister, Darby and Sadie Hattaway, Jessica Rice, Martin, Logan, Raine, Mikayla and Cora Still. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
