Mary Frances Elizabeth Stillwell, 84, passed away Monday, July 24, 2006 at home with her family at her side. Mary was born on January 14, 1922 in Atchison, Kansas, the daughter of Alvin and Mary Frances Elizabeth (Hooten) Ingles. She was united in marriage to Albert O. Stillwell in November 1935. They were happily married 47 years until Albert�s passing in September 1982. Mary and Albert were blessed with four sons, Thomas, Donald, Albert and Frank. They made their home in Independence, MO. Mary was a loving wife, mother and a wonderful grandmother. Her life centered around her family. She was a homemaker and a wonderful cook. She welcomed her family and friends at any time and loved to entertain. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary 385. She also enjoyed playing cards and dancing. She is survived by her four sons, Thomas W. Stillwell and wife Juanita of Warsaw, MO; Donald O. Stillwell Sr. and wife Shirley of Tulsa, OK; Albert L. Stillwell and wife Cheryl of Cabot, AR and Frank E. Stillwell of Independence, MO as well as 18 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Mary Ingles, husband, Albert O. Stillwell and three brothers, George and Alvin Ingles, wife Margaret and brother Charlie Morris. A visitation for family and friends will be held 7-8:30 p.m., Thursday, July 27th at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave, Independence. A celebration of her life will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 28th, at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave, Independence. Burial will follow at Mount Washington Forever Cemetery, 614 S. Brookside Ave, Independence. The family would like to thank the Lighthouse Hospice of Tulsa, Oklahoma for their kindness and caring. Mary will always be remembered by her family and friends as a truly kind and loving soul.
