Roger William Stinnett

Roger William Stinnett, 64, of Sugar Creek, MO passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2004. Visitation will be Friday, October 8th from 7 to 8:30 pm at George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home. A memorial service for Roger will be 2 pm Sunday, October 17th at the Church of Jesus Christ Zion�s Branch, 108 S. Pleasant, Independence. Interment will be private. Roger was born March 24, 1940 in Sugar Creek, MO to Carl and Adeline Stinnett. He was a graduate of Van Horn High School. He was an Elder in the Church of Jesus Christ Zion�s Branch, where he taught Sunday school classes. Roger was retired from the Missouri Department of Transportation after 38 years of service as an inspector. Roger is survived by his wife Betty Jane Stinnett of the home; son, Craig Stinnett and wife Lorelei of Shawnee, KS, his first grandchild expected in May; Nathan Stinnett of Sugar Creek, MO; mother, Adeline Stinnett of Independence, MO; brothers, Thomas Stinnett, and Kelley Stinnett both of Independence, MO; sisters, Pat Whitson of Independence, MO, and Sharon Walker of Lee�s Summit, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
