Frances Louise Stockdale

Frances Louise Stockdale, 86 passed away, Thu. Feb 16, 2006 at the Concierge Nursing Home in Houston, TX. Visitation will be 7 - 8:30 pm Mon. Feb 20, 2006 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Indep, MO. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2006 at Woodlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Stockdale was born on Nov 17, 1919 to Frank & Esther (Elwood) Werner in Troy, KS and had lived in Houston, Tulsa and Independence before moving to Katy, Texas in 2004 to live with her youngest grand-daughter and her family. She was a loving homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family, restoring furniture and taking art and painting lessons. Frances was preceded in death by her husband Ernest in 2002, a son John Robert Stockdale, who was killed in Vietnam in 1968, a daughter, Judith Ann Shellenbarger, in 1987 and Judith�s husband, Bill D. Shellenbarger in 1988. Her survivors include three grandchildren and their spouses, Jana and Brian Brenner, Jayne and Robert Harvey, and Julie and Jeremy Peterson; seven great-grandchildren, John Robert, Jessica and Jennifer Harvey, Holden and Aaron Brenner, Jenna and Jaden Peterson; and a sister Helen Schreiber of Independence.
