Evelyn M. Stoll, 90, of Blue Springs, MO died August 1, 2017. Visitation 2pm, service 3pm, both Wed. Aug. 9, at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St. Burial Swan Lake Memorial Gardens, Grain Valley, MO.
Evelyn was born March 4, 1927, in Old Linn Creek, MO to Eula Paxton Mauss and Max Mauss of Climax Springs, MO.
She attended the University of Missouri one year and taught in one-room schools in Odessa, MO and East Independence. She married Clarence M. Stoll Jr. on November 8, 1947 in Sedalia, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter, Carolyn Kay Stoll.
Evelyn is survived by a sister, Barbara Blehm of Billings, MT and a brother, Dean Mauss of Climax Springs, MO. She is survived by her husband in marriage of 69 ½ years, Clarence and six children and their spouses: Nancy (Tom) Gaines, Carl (Pat) Stoll, Doug (Jane) Stoll, Rodney (Brenda) Stoll, Bryant (Lisa) Stoll, and Brent (Kathy) Stoll. Evelyn was a grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of 10. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Independence and a long-standing member of the Fort Osage Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
